About TrailScout

This started with my own resume.

TrailScout was built by a Salesforce admin, for the Salesforce community. The ecosystem deserved something made specifically for it.

TrailScout was born from a simple belief: people should not have to figure out career growth alone.

The Origin

Built to share what I'd figured out the hard way.

After years building expertise across Salesforce, business operations, marketing, and enablement, much of it within the same orbit of companies and colleagues. I found myself facing something I hadn't dealt with in a long time: I needed to job search. And I had no idea how to package what I knew.

So I built a system from scratch. I figured out how to use AI to do what I wished someone had just shown me. It worked. And I thought: other people need this.

I started small. A deck. Shared it with a few friends. Then with SuperMums alumni. Then I presented it at a Business Analyst Summit. And then WITness Success 2026, and that's where something shifted.

Preparing for that talk made me realize a slide deck wasn't enough. The Salesforce ecosystem is full of talented, certified, hardworking people who still struggle to translate what they know into something a hiring manager can feel in thirty seconds. A deck wasn't going to fix that.

So I built TrailScout instead.

Why It Exists

The ecosystem is great at teaching Salesforce. It's less great at what comes next.

There are incredible resources for learning Salesforce: Trailhead, study groups, exam prep, community mentorship. The ohana shows up hard for people getting certified and getting skilled.

What's harder to find is support for translating all of that into something the job market can see. Talented, experienced people who struggle to package what they know. That's the gap TrailScout is trying to close.

And it's not a static resource. The job market evolves. The Salesforce ecosystem evolves. TrailScout will too. The community using it helps shape where it goes. Your feedback genuinely matters.
